Sunny Days!

Good Morning!  Have you ever had computer problems and thought it was the end of the world? Well, yesterday I lost my cogeco connection for both phone and internet.  It ended up being the whole street!  I was so frustrated and then I thought about the good old days when we didn't have computers and phones.  Life was peaceful.  I stepped back went outside and worked in the garden with the kids.  We were all happy and relaxed.  The problems were resolved last night so all is back to normal.  Somewhat normal anyway, now my laptop isn't talking to the wireless network:) There is always something, isn't there? 

Well, on to today's post.  Oh Bella Blossoms....this is one of the stamp sets being retired :(

I really like this flower but what I really like are the the 3 sentiments that come with it.  I just love the font they are in.  The sentiments are thank you, dear friend and best wishes. I inked up the stamp with my stampin' spots and sponge daubers.  I used the colours so saffron regal rose for the flower and certainly celery and old olive for the stem.  I stamped the flower twice and cut out the center part to pop up with dimensionals.  I cut the other flower out with my coluzzle (also being retired) and mounted it on a sponged so saffron scallop cut with my Scallop #2 Bigz Die and Big Shot.  I used the texturz plates and my Big Shot to get the dots on the old olive card stock.  If you do not have a die cutting machine.... the Big Shot is a must have.  I just love mine! The greeting is stamped in chocolate chip and sponged with regal rose punched out with the lg oval punch and mounted on a so saffron scallop oval punch.  

For embellishments I used some of the chocolate chip polka dot ribbon from the valet ribbon originals pack. This ribbon is also being retired and is on sale for 25% off.  I finished the card off with a couple of small rhinestone brads in the top corner and of course I added a bit of glitter to the flower.
