Well, there is always a first for something! This is the first time I have made such a large card. This card measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2". Once again I was trying to co-ordinate this card to go along with the two 50th Anniversary cards that I had already made. I stamped the Baroque swirl on the Gold Card Stock with Versamark and then Embossed it with Gold Powder. I stamped the Hearts from "A Happy Heart" in Versamark on a strip of Vellum Card Stock and Embossed with the Gold Powder as well. I attached the vellum to a piece of Whisper White Card Stock cut the same size with Gold Brads. I then mounted it onto a piece of Basic Black Card Stock. I embossed the word Cherish on White and punched out using the Large Oval Punch. I punched another Large Oval from the Gold Card Stock and cut in half and then mounted it behind the white so you are able to see a bit of gold peeking out on the top and bottom. I then mounted that to a Black Punched Scallop Oval. I love these two punches! They work so well together for the greetings of your cards. My Aunt loved her cards and I think she might even frame the whole collection of the three co-ordinating Anniversary Cards. I hope you all have a fantastic Weekend!

Have you Missed Me!
Wow, Last week was just crazy. Thank you to all those that participated in my Birthday Sale. Between Ashley getting home, my birthday, sorting out orders and then getting ready for my grandmother's 97th Birthday Celebration in Newmarket this weekend I had a busy week and didn't get a chance to blog or look at any blogs for that matter. So, onto to today's post.... I was asked to make a couple of 50th Anniversary cards for this past weekend and these are the cards I came up with.
Does the layout look familiar to anyone? The layout came from one of the cards we made last week at the stamp camp. I changed up the colours and the salutation to come up with a nice gold and glitzy card.
I used the swirly image from the To Have & To Hold stamp set and embossed it in gold on the brushed gold card stock. The Bride and Groom image are stamped in Jet Black Staz-on ink and the flowers are highlighted with the gold fine galaxy glitter. The greeting Together Forever came from the Stamp Set by the same name and was also embossed in gold embossing powder. Hope you enjoy!

I'm Here and A Happy Birthday
Phew! The weekend is over. What a great day we had on Sat with the Stamp-A-Stack Card Buffet. We had a lot of fun and at the end of the day I could officially say my feet were beat. I am already looking at the calendar to determine when the next one is going to be. Sunday was also a very busy day as we were getting ready to have Daddy home after 3 weeks of being away. Everyone is happy now and I am finally getting a chance to do some of my stamping things.

Update on Discontinued Accessories
Hello there everyone! I can't believe it is already Wednesday and my Stamp Camp is only a few days away. I have been busy getting ready for it along with celebrating Tristan's 3rd Birthday yesterday. What a busy day we had. I can't believe he is already three! Where does the time go?
