Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek!!

Hi there everyone,
It was a busy first week at school for the kids and I was kept hopping!  I did however manage to shoot my very first video that I am going to share with all of you.  On Thursday last week,  UPS found their way to my new address and I received my Holiday Catalogue Preorder along with my copy of the Holiday Mini Catalogue.  Tristan didn't have school that day so I asked him if he could video me opening my box of goodies for all of you to see.
We had a lot of fun and a few takes later, we had something I could work with.  I needed to do a few edits though as my helper was eating chips while videoing :)

So... here it is... my very first video for you!  Thank you in advance for watching and I hope you enjoy the products that are coming soon in the Holiday Mini Catalogue!

I'm Back!!!!

Hello there from the Springs!

Well, here I am a few years later and getting back to blogging.  I have been wanting to get back to my blog for sometime but needed to update my header and felt I had to do that first before I started.  Well, as you can see that was taking me forever to do, so I deleted my header, used a basic one and am just diving right in.  A pretty header will follow.

Now that I am living in Colorado Springs, and still running my Canadian Stampin' Up! business, I needed a easy way of keeping all my Canadian customers informed of current promotions, new catalogues and sharing all of my creations.  So, back to the blog I go. 

Over the next few days I will be sharing current promotions, exciting things to come and eventually I will be sharing some of my own card creations.  Right now my stamp room is still in boxes.

I am so happy to be back and I hope I can be a source of inspiration for you!!

It is Leadership Time again!

Good Morning from Sunny Orlando.  It is so nice to be away for a few days and get inspired and motivated by all my Stampin' Up! friends.  I wanted to share a card with you this morning using a stamp set I absolutely fell in love with when I saw the new Spring Mini Catalogue!  Swallowtail!  I wasn't very creative over the holidays, but did need to come up with a swap card.

 

The neat background on the Baja Breeze card stock was made on MDS 2.  I used a Happy Birthday stamp and then placed 5 or 6 in a row and then copied and pasted to fill the whole 8 1/2 x 11.  I set the stamp colour to be baja breeze and then I printed it on baja breeze card stock.  This was a great solution for adding a creating without the creating taking away from my watercoloured butterfly. I made 32 of these cards.  Don't they look fun all grouped together! Wouldn't it be fun to bundle these up and give me them as gifts! 

  

I am off to the Convention Centre now to check-in and visit with all my friends.  I will be back tomorrow with more samples and excitement!  Have a wonderful day!
