Moving Day!!!

Hi there everyone,  sorry for no post yesterday, but I forgot my camera and computer at the house and we were staying in the hotel.  I remembered it today.... I am completely exhausted, everyone is already asleep but I am going to share some fun projects about the new in colours.  Just an update on the move so far.  2 1/2 days of packing, over 16 hours of loading and the moving truck is absolutely full.  Not one single little bit of space left.  I was almost wondering what we were going to have to leave behind.  I made sure all my stamp stuff was on the truck and then I was ok with anything that we would need to leave :)  It all went well and tomorrow we will be making sure the house is all ok, need to pick up Cricket and then we will be on our way to Cornwall.  We have our final walkthrough when we get there of the new house and then I fully plan on sleeping in on Saturday.  I have been waiting for that day for weeks! Ok, onto the creative post...

I love this years in colours - raspberry ripple, primrose petals, gumball green, midnight muze, summer starfruit!  I love the names as well.  For my customer appreciation day we created a card using the Pleasant Poppies background stamp set.  Here it is in all five in colours.  I also used this card as one of my swaps for Convention.  I love doing things that carry the same design in different colours.  It is perfect to package cards like these up in sets to give away and that is just what I did.  I took an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of card stock and scored it at 5 1/2 on the long side and then turned it around and scored at 2 1/2".  I fold up the 2 1/2" piece and then fold the piece in half like a book with two interior pockets.

Supplies Used
Stamp Set: Pleasant Poppies (pg 129), Made for You (pg 44)
Card Stock: Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muze, Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, Whisper White and Basic Black
Ink: Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muze, Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green and Basic Black
Accessories:  Large Oval Punch, Decorative Label Punch, In Colour Stitched Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals and for the folder, the Finishing Touches Edgelits

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Simple Card and Winner of the Runaround Bag

Hi there everyone,

Well, I have had one exhausting day!  How about you?  I got home from Convention at 3am on Sunday night (Mon Morning) and then had only a few hours sleep and then the packers showed up at 8am.  You should see my stamp room now!  They had a busy day packing and will be back again tomorrow.  Stamp room took more than 1 day to pack.  I will have some pictures to show you soon of the after packing stage.

Onto something creative..... this card was actually on display at Convention and I fell in love with the simplicity.  I am not sure who's card it is but want to thank them for the great idea.  I think I will be making some of these cards.

Stamp Set: Morning Post Alphabet (pg 144)
Ink: Midnight Muze, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery
Paper: Whisper White and Pretty in Pink card stock
Tools:  Scalloped Edge Border Punch, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Rhinestones, Colour Spritzer, Regal Rose Stampin' Write, Dimensionals

AND THE WINNER IS......

Thank you to all of you who commented on my 18 Jul Post.  I entered your names into a random name picker on the computer (that was fun) and came up with a lucky winner.  For those that had trouble leaving a comment, I entered you into the draw also since you made contact with me through an email. I will help you figure out the comment thing once I have settled down from my move.  Maybe one day that could even be a post.  Ok.... I know you are waiting to hear what name the computer spit out...

                                                       Congratulations to Allie B!!!!

I will pop the bag in the mail for you Allie!! Congrats and thank you to all of you for subscribing to my blog and leaving a comment.  Have a great day and think of me up to my eyeballs in boxes and stuff!

Another Exciting Day!!

MDS 2 is almost here!!!  There are over 75 new design features found on MDS 2.  We saw a few today and it is very exciting.... can't wait to add it to my computer!

We had some fantastic classes and make and take sessions and now we are trying to call it a day!  I am determined to keep this blog alive, so onto a very quick post...

Here I am at the Awards Ceremony... we were having fun feeling like I was walking down the red carpet before the Oscar's or for a movie premiere!

We were having so much fun!  I am holding the Founder's Circle bag... it is a dooney & burke leather bag. Absolutely gorgeous.  Sorry no creativity today and for the small post.  We are absolutely exhausted.
Thank you all again for all that you do!!!

Thank you to ALL of you!!

What an incredible day I had on Wednesday!!!  Some of you are on facebook and already know about my day, but I wanted to share it here also.  When I went to the awards booth today, I found out I had earned Founder's Circle which is a special trip with Shelli Gardner for the top demonstrators.  It is all very exciting and more so because I get to share the excitement with a number of my team members!  Everyone has supported me so much in my 10 year Stampin' Up! journey and I really feel I can not thank you enough!
Here is a fun card I saw in the Legacy Room today at the Home Office.  I feel just like that.... "Thanks for the support"

The Home Office is really an incredible place to work!!  Wish I could move closer to have a job here :)
It is turning into a regular thing as well visiting the home office and especially the big rocks at the front entrance.  Two years ago we jumped off the rocks and had a blast.  This year, the garden was nicely planted so not so much room for jumping... but I still managed to have some fun!

Ok, so I am crazy... but we were having so much fun! Here is the whole gang of us!

Thank you so much for coming back again today to visit!! I will be back again tomorrow night after the Awards Ceremony!!  Yippee!!!

Arrived in Salt Lake City!!

Today was a busy travel day and I arrived safe and sound and so excited to see all of my friends.  It was a blast!  Just getting ready for bed but wanted to share a project I made for my downline!  I was so proud that I accomplished these bags in time, amongst everything else I was doing before I came here.  The pattern for these bags was found HERE. And Thank you to Rushs Dry Goods for helping to get the pattern to me quickly so I could start sewing!

I used all of the Stampin' Up! fabrics and got my coordinating zippers at Fabricland.  The individual bag pictured is with the newest fabric from the upcoming Holiday Mini called Orchard Harvest Designer Fabric. Don't you just love them!! Well, all my girls loved them and I am going to give one away to one lucky person.  My goal this year for my blog is to get more followers signed up through the email subscription and to have you start to comment on my posts.  Comments help me to see how many people are visiting.

Here is what you need to do to possibly become that lucky winner.  Comment on this blog post and also make sure you sign up for the Feedburner Subscribe to my Blog by adding your email address.  I will do a random drawing of all the names of people who comment on Sunday 22 Jul.  So.... let your friends know if they haven't visited here yet and I look forward to seeing you around my blog more often!

Have a great day and I will be back with more exciting news from Day 1 of the Convention!!! Check in and Memento Mall on Wednesday!!!

Off to Convention in Salt Lake City!!

Hi there everyone, I'm very excited to be heading to Convention in Salt Lake City where I can give my undivided attention to my business.  I love meeting up with old friends and making new ones and being able to network and get lots of new ideas to incorporate in my business.  It is so nice to be taking a break from the whole moving thing.  Reality will hit me straight on when I get back on Sunday night, but until then I am going to enjoy myself and spend some time sharing with all of you!  I made a couple  of card swaps for Convention and I need to send a big thank you to Jenn B for helping me get them all stamped and assembled in time.  Here is one I would like to share with you today.

This card uses the For the Birds Stamp Set (126407 clear, 126405 wood) from the 2012-2013 Catalogue.  I used Gumball Green for my main card body and embossed it with the perfect polka dots embossing folder.  I layered strips of the new Be of Good Cheer Designer Paper (126896) onto very vanilla card stock and sponged the edges with crumb cake ink.  I mounted this onto the card front with dimensionals.  I stamped the bird image with Staz-on black in on a piece of very vanilla card stock and then cut it out using the Labels Collection Framelits (125598).  I coloured the birdy in with markers and a blender pen and sponged the label with crumb cake also.  I added the final touch of a little black bow made with the Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta ribbon (119261).  It is hard to image a Christmas Card already, but really it will be here sooner than we know it!  That's it for today... will be back tomorrow evening with a post from Salt Lake City!!  Have a great day!
